Meet IGNACIO ALVAREZ

Ignacio Jose Alvarez Vicuña is a Sales Associate with the Vanesa Carpignano Team at Douglas Elliman, working alongside Top-Producing Executive Director of Luxury Sales Vanesa Carpignano, member of the firm's exclusive Sports & Entertainment Division and International Real Estate Advisor.

A native of Chile, Ignacio brings over 10 years of distinguished experience as an attorney, advising clients on complex contracts, negotiations, and high-value transactions. Now based in Miami Beach, he brings that same legal precision, strategic client-first approach, and fiduciary integrity to South Florida's luxury real estate market.

Like Vanesa, who built her competitive edge from 15+ years as an executive in advertising, marketing, and design at Grey Advertising New York, Ignacio built his from a decade in law. This gives him a unique advantage in branding, positioning, and most importantly — protecting his clients from the first offer to contract execution. He is known for delivering consistent results while making every client feel like family.

Ignacio specializes in advising sophisticated national and international clientele — including investors and families relocating from Chile and Latin America — who are looking to buy, sell, or invest in Miami's most desirable neighborhoods, including Miami Beach, Bay Harbor Islands, Bal Harbour, Surfside, Brickell, Edgewater, Key Biscayne, Coral Gables and Coconut Grove.

Combining his multicultural international background, advanced negotiation skills, and legal discipline, Ignacio provides comprehensive Real Estate Services and Consulting with cultural sensitivity, business savvy, and absolute transparency.

He is fluent in both Spanish and English and is committed to the same core values that define Vanesa's team: authenticity, integrity, data-driven insight, and a deeply personal approach to every transaction.
